Finding a lot of albums that I had forgotten about and many more that I never knew about. Already marked a couple pages with albums I want to hunt for. One thing though - the book I got has a different dust cover than the one pictured. The design is the same but many of the album covers depicted are different. No big deal, but it makes me wonder if the book I got is an older or newer version.

Wasn't really impressed by this book. Its nice to have in a collection but it should really be titled "Some Album Covers". They left out many iconic covers from all genres. Now the quality of the book the information and photos are very good. It was put together very well. Just a lot of mediocre content.

Wish I never read it

I really liked this series, until I read this book. The best part was the end and i will only read it cause of how the author left it. That being said I feel like I have missed a book with all the happened.. The last book ended with everyone being happy now all that happiness has been taken away and you don't get the full story. Then she turns Belmont into a cheater just like her ex. At this point I don't want them together and wish she actually end up with Chuck , Belmont's brother. Depressed me

I don't understand how you could mess with this couple. I was in a funk after reading this book hoping as I neared the end that things would work out but then why would Daisy take Belmont back after he walked out and then had an affair. Don't know how many couples could turn this around after having the evidenced presented in such a graphic manner. I'm hoping the next installment works out better but I'm uncertain whether I will purchase. I think I will re-read the very first book dealing with their initial hook-up. So I do not know that I can whole heartedly recommend this book.

I really didn't care for this book I hate when authors take a story and keep going and destroy the character's now Belmont is this nasty cold cheating business man and in book one he said he'll never hurt or cheat that she be the to hurt and leave him I just think some authors need to stop after the first two or three books before the destroy the character's after we fall in love with them I wish I didn't read this book I should've stop after say you love her I will not read the next daisy and Belmont book I'll just remember like the first one

All of the Hercule Poirot short stories and novellas are conveniently here in one volume, and they appear in chronological order written from 1923-1940.

For instance, all stories in these separate volumes are included in this book:

Poirot Investigates
Poirot's Early Cases
Murder in the Mews
The Labours of Hercules
The Under Dog and Other Stories

There is a helpful Foreward by Charles Todd and brief publication information is provided at the beginning of each of the 51 stories.

This Kindle edition is nicely done and this book also makes a nice companion to the recently released complete 70 episode Poirot series starring David Suchet. I had pre-ordered that Blu-ray set and read this book along with other Christie titles in preparation for that release. I was very happy with both; this book and the Blu-ray set are excellent. Quality varies for individual stories but Poirot fans and mystery lovers should find much to enjoy here.

The Ultimate Hercule Poirot in Short Stories - Love This!

The Complete Short Stories is a collection every Poirot fan should own, that much all of us can agree on. We know full well Poirot is egotistical and vain. We know that once on the trail of a miscreant or killer, he does not let go. Poirot has gained a legendary status equalling Sherlock Holmes and the Saint. We know David Suchet has gained a legendary status as well for the filming of All the Poirot stories. Now the question - what makes this book unique and not just a simple gathering of all the short stories?
For One, they are presented in chronological order from the very first The Affair at the Victory Ball in 1923 to Four and Twenty Blackbirds in 1940. Those astute readers out there will see the progression that Agatha Christie imbued in her character. Poirot begins using the little gray cells in more society stories with a smattering of thefts of political documents to the more unusual stories from The Labours of Hercules, excellent in their own way. They begin with Hastings and brings in some of the other characters we've met in the novels once Hastings is out of the picture.
Two, the stories represent the astute mind of Christie herself in penning the mysteries designed to fool us and teaching us to look at the evidence and thinking outside the obvious. Yes, we were fooled before and determined not to be fooled again, if we can help it. Still, Dame Agatha holds the final word.
Three, These stories show Poirot from the beginning and watches as he ages and becomes a clever old man, many times in personal danger. He begins to become what Christie would call as "creepy." Read through the stories from the first to the last, no skipping, and you get a good sense of who is Hercule Poirot.
This book is essential for all Christie fans and highly suggested to keep in paperback for your own library for continued dippings. Get it and treasure it.

This book is a great collection and a great bargain. Now you don't have to buy a bunch of sepate books to get all of these stories -- just one book. Agatha Christie is still one of the best mystery writers available!
